I definitely consider my style casero, if you are in interested in Mexican Culture and history, and want to experience Mexico in your dining room, give me a call, we can cook in front of you, welcome to heard about origination of the dish? I welcome the conversation and educate you in our cultural food. Raised half my life in the US, I picked up a lot of American dishes as well, and was heavily influenced with Asian cuisine. I know how to make Filipino chicken Pancit, Thai Beef lap, Vietnamese Japchae, Hawaiian style fried ramen, Kalua pork, Mac salad, spam misubi. I’m a bit oblivious to that history but rest assure my style will flatter your guests no mater what food you choose.
Experience
I’ve worked at Altus AFB as a cook, have worked medical in between, Worked with many upscale clients. My experience comes from my roots, my childhood was raised in the land of Zacatecas, Mexico. I am able to make tamales, Enchiladas dulces & Potosías, chilaquiles, Birria, Barbacoa, menudo, Pozole rojo y verde, frijoles charros, mole, pipián, arroz, flautas, gorditas, tostadas, cocktail de camarón, aguachirles, caldo de res y pollo and other tasty deserts I’m so willing to share. I learned this hands on from my grandmother and mother and hold all of my traditional recipes close to heart, I love being one of the only chefs that is willing to work with plant based option upon request. I think it take creativity and I feel regardless of your option, your food should be appeasing to the eye and tongue. I hold my Food Service Managers License.
