Cooking style
My cooking style is my own. I combine details from every culture, cuisine and style I learn to create new and exciting dishes. However, I can be very traditional when needed. My style is much broader than the 6 influences I can select; I am very well versed in many different types of cuisines, styles and techniques. I love teaching others how enjoyable cooking can be and how to make magic out of the simplest of ingredients. Creating your own personalized custom menu is enjoyable and exciting for me, so please, let's work together!
Experience
I am classically trained, and I have experience in many global cuisines and different styles of cooking. I’ve been cooking since I was small, and I’ve been a chef for over 11 years- working all over Northeast Ohio and Michigan privately and professionally. I have a Culinary Arts degree and Hospitality Management degree, as well as a Professional Baking, Professional Culinarian, Personal Chef Certificate, and a Food and Beverage Management Certificate from the Culinary Center of Excellence in Cleveland, OH in 2016. I am ServSafe Certified and follow all CDC regulations.
I cater entirely to my client's needs and provide intimate dining experiences that are customized to preference. I have my own small farm I own with my wife that seasonally produces plenty of organic vegetables and free-range chickens. I source as many local and organic products in my menus as possible. About 75% of my ingredients are sourced from homegrown or locally grown produce and meat/ poultry from other local farmers. I offer lunch or dinner parties for 2 to 30 people. I also provide cooking classes for ages 13 and up. I look forward to cooking for you!
Joshua cooked us a dinner for our first night at a Bachelorette weekend! It was a lot of food and everything he made was delicious! The cheesecake we had was the best I’ve ever tasted. I’d definitely have him again if we were ever in the area!

Like nothing else we've had
Wanted to do something special for my wife's 30th birthday. Had previously heard about private chefs and found Chef Joshua. He did research and built a menu around the theme I was going for. I've had reasonably expensive dinners overseas and rather expensive meals in the states. Obviously a private chef is expensive as well. That being said I have never had so many dishes that were so expertly crafted and tasted as good. Plus I didn't have to travel the food was made right in my own kitchen. When Chef Joshua left my kitchen was as clean as when he started. I 100% plan to use Chef Joshua in the future.

A wonderful wedding party for 17 guests
Chef Joshua prepared a seasonal menu for a private family dinner after our wedding, and also brunch for the group the next morning. The food was perfectly cooked and beautifully presented, and he and his wife kept our guests at ease with their warm and friendly conversation. There were plenty of menu options to accommodate the preferences of all the guests, and the pricing was a good value for the service received. I would definitely work with Chef Joshua again!
