What are we?
MiumMium is a brokerage service for personal chefs at home.
How does it work?
First you register, you review the chefs and menus available in your region. You book online and the MiumMium’s chef takes care of the rest.
How much does it cost?
The registration is free, you pay the price mentioned on the menu multiplied by the number of guests. Prices include the chef, the food, the transportation and the taxes. Tips are at your discretion.
When do I pay?
Less than 18% of the total amount is paid at booking. The remaining sum is settled directly with the chef. The client and the chef are free to make other arrangements, such as a down payment.
Can the chef and the client communicate?
Yes, both parties can use the messaging service on the chef page and on every menu. Please note that contact details (phone, email, etc.) are not permitted between chefs and clients prior to a reservation.
What are the responsibilities of the chef?
All chefs must offer an exceptional experience to the clients. They are expected to arrive at the location in advance, giving themselves the allotted time to prepare for the meal. They will purchase the food, cook, serve and clean.
Can a menu be modified?
Yes, as the clients will be directly in touch with the chefs, modifications are possible. Take note that the chefs may have to adjust their prices to accommodate clients’ modification. The chefs are to advise the clients of the changes in prices when the demand is made.
MiumMium is a tribe composed of chefs and gourmets, a tribe that is growing every day. All the members must contribute to the survival of the tribe, therefore the chefs must commit to protecting MiumMium by refusing any reservation from tribe members outside of the website.
