I have been a professional chef for over fifteen years,My passion for food comes from learning at a very young age just by watching and helping my mum and my grandmother. I later studied to become a professional chef and kept learning by traveling and working in different countries. I have been really lucky to work in some of the most recognized restaurants in Barcelona, such as Alkimia (* Michelin), Via Veneto (* Michelin), Coure or the 5 stars hotel Wittmore (as a head chef). Now I cook food that I would love to eat, most people call it creative Mediterranean food. My food is based on good quality sustainable ingredients, that I carefully select myself from local markets.
Experience
My experiences of a private chef is very personal. I have done anything from informal barbecues, breakfast for families, brunch, lunch, and dinner parties, small weddings, birthday parties etc . My main goal is to please my guest with happy attitude and wonderful tasty food., so do get in contact with us to personalize your event. It is always different. I understand customers with different diets and we can always adapt. We also like to share knowledge and teach courses on how to make sauces, paella, or other Mediterranean dishes.
We had Chef Matej cook for our party of 12 at our rental house in Lloret de Mar (near Barcelona). The experience was awesome. He arranged the menu with us in advance and arrived as planned to cook everything on site. The food was excellent and we didn’t have to lift a finger. Overall great experience would use Chef Matej again with no hesitation.

Cena mas rica con mis amigas
Mateo he preparado una cena muy rica para mi y otras 6 amigas. Hemos tenido cena de sorpresa. 5 platos por precio muy bueno. Professional como de un restaurante de alto nivel.
