The potential interest of your guests in an activity of this nature will be closely related to each individual's interest in getting to know certain aspects of our Portuguese gastronomy and locally or nationally produced products, which are part of our local or national culture. Clearly, cuisine and wine will be the foundation.
There is no intention of turning this into a cooking course, although it is my goal for the participants to cook with me during the activity.
In this activity, and this is a very personal opinion, the visit to the market will be an unnecessary moment since the only market of interest in the city of Porto is the Bolhão Market, and this is already an important part of other existing proposals in the tourism market. I believe this program should take place, if possible, on the last days of the visit to Porto/North of the country, and it could even serve as a farewell lunch or dinner. This will allow the visitors to take note of what they have tasted and seen in gastronomic terms, and what they would like to get to know better. I strongly advise that they provide photographs and/or names in advance so that we can better personalize the experience whenever possible. This is what sets my proposal apart.
