I can cook most styles, but my specialties are traditional French, American formal, American casual, eclectic, healthy, vegan, vegetarian, gluten free, low calorie, sugar free, cajun, creole, and pastry/bakery.
Experience
I have cooked & baked since I was 7. My mom, grandmother, & other women in my family taught me. I also have an Associate Degree in Culinary from Le Cordon Bleu Austin. I took private cooking lessons from Erling Jensen, the premier chef in Memphis & owner of Erling Jensen The Restaurant in his restaurant kitchen. I externed, staged, and worked for Chef Reina Morris owner of both Buenos Aires Café in Austin. I worked directly under her as her assistant in her bakery/pastry kitchen in her Bee Cave restaurant. I have worked as a personal chef at various in my life (pre culinary school) & more recently during the past 3 years. At home, I am constantly researching and experimenting on new techniques for cooking & baking.
