Cooking has a style? I do not like to define that as styles or types. Cooking is just cooking, it is either tasty or bad. If you do things right, you will enjoy your result in the end.
Experience
For my short experience I have worked in 7 different restaurants, started in fast foods and lately I had worked for 2 Michelin star in Amsterdam, top 5 restaurant in Sofia and currently in a 5 star resort as chef de partie in SF bay area.
