I've worked in many a different restaurant, over this past decade. Put in hundreds, if not thousands of hours of time within my own kitchens as well. And now, cooking has become something of a second nature, I'd say. After years of cooking almost daily, one might find a similar effect. All it takes is a strong understandings of the basics. Then, with a little preparation and continued efforts, of course; you might also find- that there's no longer any meal, that can't be made ! Truly a beautiful sight to see.
