Raul was such an amazing chef. Beyond how amazing his food was, he was a great entertainer and a great guy. He made us margaritas and brought flowers for my girlfriends birthday on his dime. If I'm ever in Playa again I will be giving him a call.

Communication: Chef Raul kept in contact throughout the planning stage and the days before our dinner. Personality: Chef was informative, social, considerate, and kind as we peppered him with questions during preparation. Organization: Chef provided a complete setup of table ware (wine glasses, silverware, and plates) and provided a surprise dinner addition of local grilled gulf shrimp. Attention to detail: As it was a French-influenced menu, I was genuinely impressed that Chef Raul even provided Laguiole knives made in France. As a foodie, I was looking for a special event during our vacation in Puerto Morelos, Mexico and came across Chef Raul’s culinary background on the internet site Miummium. His experience and reviews were just what I envisioned, a blend of local fresh ingredients and my love of French food. However, I was not prepared for the care and love he lavished on our dinner. Chef Raul was a joy to work with! He catered to our special meal requests and went above and beyond to make our birthday dinner extra special. His presence was a joy to have in our vacation home. We will certainly use him again!
